Real estate asset managers act as the property owners’ agent and adviser for the property. They plan and direct the purchase, development, repositioning and disposition of real estate on behalf of the business and investors. Harold Schertz


Harold Schertz has over 30 years of experience as a real estate professional, excelling in a broad range of roles including acquisition, asset management, disposition, project management, leasing and redevelopment of different types of real estate including office, multifamily and retail. As a former CPA at the firm of Oppenheim Appel Dixon & Co. he was responsible for accounting and audit review for various real estate clients. Mr. Schertz was a former Asset Manager at Merrill Lynch Hubbard, who was responsible for deploying redevelopment or releasing of various properties around the country. Mr. Schertz holds a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Accounting and Economics from Yeshiva University and a Masters in Business Administration from Pace University.

Aryeh Victor, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Aryeh Victor supports the financial reporting, tax preparation, analysis and due diligence process for SRI clients and investment partnerships. This includes analyzing new prospects, developing financial projections and monitoring the financial and operational performance of managed assets. Mr. Victor holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brooklyn College.

Jordan Williams


Jordan Williams is involved in the underwriting, acquisitions and project management for SRI as well as the day-to-day management of the assets. Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Queens College and a Masters of Science in Real Estate from New York University.

Harold Schertz’s SRI LLC paid $17 million for a 30-unit multifamily building at 354 Cathedral Parkway on the Upper West Side. SRI also owns four office condominiums at 525 Park Avenue on the Upper East Side, which it acquired for $26 million last year. The asset management company’s latest buy is for a six-story building spanning 20,412 square feet. Orbach Group bought the building for $7 million in 2012.

Asset management firm acquires four Lenox Hill office condos for $26M

SRI LLC, a Midtown-based asset management firm, picked up four office condominium units in a mixed-use Lenox Hill building for $25.6 million, according to property records filed with the city Friday.

The company closed on the four units, located in a 15-story building at 525 Park Avenue, last week. The roughly 100-year-old building, near East 61st Street, holds five offices totaling nearly 12,000 square feet, according to property records, and also houses 48 residential units.

The seller, Lido Realty LLC, bought the four units for $21.7 million in 2013.

Harold Schertz, principal at SRI, did not return a request for comment. Representatives for Lido Realty could not be reached for comment.

Private equity firm Avista Capital Partners acquired a condo at the building for $16.5 million in 2013.
